It’s about that time, our Fairfield Indians winter sports teams are entering the playoffs:
Softball: Our girls have earned the #5 seed in the tournament and received a first round bye for all their hard work. In the second round they will face off against #11 seeded Talawanda at home on Wednesday the 11th at 5:00 pm. The game will be played at the Softball Diamond at Creekside Middle School.
Softball defeated #11 Talawanda 4-0 on Wednesday. Now they move into the third round to face #9 Kings on Monday the 16th at Hamilton high school at 5:00 pm.
Boys Lacrosse: Our #16 seeded boys lacrosse team will travel to Springboro Intermediate, Wade Field to face off against (#6) Springboro High School. The game will take place on Saturday the 14th at 12:00 pm.
Girls Lacrosse: Our #17 seeded girls lacrosse team will travel to #16 seeded Little Miami in the first round of the tournament. The game will take place on Saturday the 14th at Little Miami High School.
Our girls defeated #16 Little Miami in 4 overtimes!! They now will take on #2 Mason at Mason Middle School Multi-purpose field at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 17th.
Baseball: Our boys have earned themselves the #8 seed and will face off against Winton Woods in the first round at Joe Nuxhall Field on Tuesday May the 17th at 5:00 pm.
Track: Districts, our boys and girls will be running on Wednesday 5/18 at 4:00 pm at Ross high school, and Friday 5/20 also at 4:00 pm at Ross high school.
Per OHSAA rules, tickets will be sold online only and no passes will be accepted at tournament events.
