Fairfield’s girls bowling team and three members of the boys wrestling squad left for Columbus Friday following a traditional parade through the high school accompanied by the marching band.
The wrestling state qualifiers are Jake Lentz at 113 pounds, Tannar Beermann at 138 and Lane Abrams at 165. They are the 173rd-175th Indian grapplers to qualify for state.
The girls headed toward Columbus are Katie Dashley, Allie Horn, Lexie Kidd, Tavish Leslie, Emily Murdock, Kaylee Murdock, Vanessa Roese, and Haleigh Wallace.
