Varsity Softball goes 4-1 over spring break

Over spring break the Varsity softball team racked up 4 wins over Little Miami, Middletown, Sycamore and New Richmond.  Senior Brooke Miller blasted her first homerun of the season and notched her first varsity win on the mound. Sophomore Karley Clark launched 2 homers over the week. Senior Brieley Proffitt is leading the offense with a .545 batting average, freshman Ava Hensley closely follows behind with a .529 batting average, and sophomore Abby Stanfield is next with a .500 batting average.
Junior pitcher Ryleigh Peters has 3 wins in the circle and 27 strikeouts on the season.
The team has a busy week ahead traveling to Hamilton today and Lakota East Wednesday, Mount Notre Dame at home on Thursday, and Oak Hills Friday. The team will host Talawanda Saturday.
