The varsity softball team notched its 15th win of the season Wednesday, defeating Princeton, 18-2, on Senior Recognition Day.
The six seniors were: Cara Stacy (1 for 3, scored 2 runs), Brooke Miller (double, 5 RBIs), Jessi Mathews (2 for 3, double), Autum Spears (scored 3 runs), Brieley Proffitt (1 for 3), and Madison Vanderbilt (1 hit). The team also recognized senior Tatum Proffitt as the Voice of the Indians, as she served as announcer this season.
Other notable offensive players were junior Ryleigh Peters (3 for 4, double, 4 RBIs), sophomores Karley Clark (2 for 3, triple) and Abby Stanfield (2 for 3, double), plus freshman Ava Hensley (3 for 3, triple). Ryleigh Peters struck out 10 from the circle.
The Indians host their final regular season home game today against Colerain at 5 p.m., and host a tournament game next Wednesday.
