And the more than two-decade streak … is … OVER!!!
Fairfield snapped Colerain’s 23-year dominance of the Indians last Friday, easily defeating the Cardinals 34-7. Fairfield last beat its GMC foe in 1999.
The Indians, now 3-0, did some dominating of their own, both on offense and defense. The Indians outrushed the Cards 427 yards to 87, and had 4.5 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss on defense.
The Indians return home Friday night to face the 0-3 Sycamore Aviators. It is Pee-Wee football night, where the future Indian football players and cheerleaders are spotlighted!
