The Indians started slow, not scoring n the first quarter, but then came back to slam 27 points on the board during the second. Jordon Jackson led rushers with 131 yards and a TD, while QB Talon Fisher ran for 49 and two TDs. Ki’Arran Love also ran back a 52-yard punt return to score a touchdown.
Defensively, Kari Bivins took over, recording 16 tackles (9 solo), a sack and one tackle for a loss. Dorian Soriano had nine tackles, a sack and 2.5 tackles for loss and Ray Coney had eight tackles and one TFL.
The Indians next travel to Oak Hills on Friday, then return to Alumni Stadium on Friday, September 23 to face the undefeated Princeton Vikings.
