Fairfield wrestlers celebrate Senior Night
Fairfield recently honored its four boys graduating wrestlers in a Senior Night dual match against Northwest.
Being recognized before the grappling began in the Fairfield Arena were Jake Lentz, Tannar Beermann, Hunter Smith and Kasey Coning. They were presented to the crowd along with their families.
Also honored with a moment of silence was senior Evan Huxsoll, a wrestler who died at the start of the 2022-23 school year.
At the District Tournament this weekend, 30-7 Lentz will be wrestling at 113 pounds after finishing first at Sectionals. Also advancing to Districts are 21-11 Smith (second at 126) and 28-4 Beermann (second at 138).
