A soggy Senior Night for the Fairfield boys soccer team! It was a bit rainy last Thursday, but at least it had dwindled temporarily to a drizzle by a gloomy pregame. But bright in the spotlight were eight seniors being honored: Sammy Davis, Brian Razo, Alex Gonzalez, Camden Blackwell, Brody Long, Daniel Ponce, Grant Slater, and Isaiah Uhl.
Fairfield defeated Oak Hills, 3-2, with goals by seniors Ponce, Slater, and Uhl.
The Indians, coached by Christian Johnson, are currently 8-7 overall and 5-3 and in 4th place in the GMC. They next play at Lakota West on Thursday, Nov. 12, in the regular season closer.
