The Fairfield wrestling team held its annual blowout wrestling extravaganza, the 51st Ron Masanek Invitational Wrestling Tournament, on Jan. 5-6.
Twenty teams with hundreds of wrestlers participated. Fairfield, coached by Blair Willcocks, finished 6th overall.
Placers for the Indians included in 3rd place Jake King (126 pounds), Juseters Fataki (190), in 4th place Jamie Mackey (132), Braeden Shanklin, (138) and in 5th place Jeremy Jordan (144).
Harrison High School was the overall winning team.
Fairfield next wrestles on Jan. 19 in a tri-meet with Anderson and Northwest high schools.
