It’s always sad to have the music stop playing, but before it did, the Fairfield High School Dance Team Class of 24 members got one more time to show off their moves on Senior Night!
At halftime of the Fairfield-Mason boys basketball game, the entire squad danced, and then the six senior girls were introduced and honored at half-court along with family and friends.
The young ladies were:
Dajajuan Lattimore
Favorite Memories: Getting to know the dance team and making new bonds
Plans: Cosmetology school, as well as taking STNA classes (nursing assistant)
Amari Martin
Favorite Memories: Singing and making TikToks
Plans: Attend college, major in nursing and minor in business. Wants to become neonatal nurse
Kamyra Mitchell
Favorite Memories: Receiving our dance team names
Plans: Going to college for business management
Monet Terrell
Favorite Memories: Working the concession stand early in the morning to fundraise for our team
Plans: Attend Wilberforce University and major in criminal justice
Tailyn Carter
Favorite Memories: Becoming captain of the dance team for football season
Plans: Attend an HBCU
Janaya Chappell
Favorite Memories: When we stormed the floor after we beat Middletown by a buzzer-beater
Plans: To attend Kent State University to study journalism and media
