Senior Queens Girls lacrosse honors graduating players

Fairfield’s girls lacrosse team celebrated its bumper-sized crop of soon-to-be graduates during Senior Night on May 9 in its regular season-closing home match against Little Miami. Eleven players were honored in the 8-4 loss.
The student-athletes named that evening and their plans include:
Olivia Blau: Otterbein University, primary education. Will also play lacrosse
BriAnne Branscum: Bowling Green State University, business analytics. Will also play lacrosse
Helenah Khoury: University of Cincinnati, radiology
Marley Moxley: University of Kentucky, psychology
Brittany Leahr: Central State University, business economics
Isabella Baiden: Northern Kentucky University, radiologic science
Brianna Rauch: Cincinnati State, diagnostic medical sonography and continuing barrel racing
Breaunna Carroll: Bowling Green State University, pre-physical therapy
Erika Silva: University of Cincinnati, biomedical studies/pre-medicine
Madilyn Wazyniak: TBA, pre-medicine
Lilli Elis: TBA, forensic psychology
The Indians, coached by John Meyer, finished their season with a first-round postseason loss to Seton. Overall, the team was 4-12, while coming in fifth in the Greater Miami Conference with a 4-8 mark.
