So Close, Indians lose to Big Blue in OT

      It came down to the last plays in overtime, but Fairfield fell just short of a come-from-behind victory at Hamilton Friday night, losing 31-28.
      The Indians and Big Blue swapped touchdowns all evening, with neither team leading by more than 7 the whole game. The fourth quarter saw a bonanza of scoring with 4 touchdowns, including one by Fairfield with just 17 seconds remaining to send it to overtime.
      Senior QB Talon Fisher 17/37 passing for 180 yards and one TD, plus he rushed 18/65 and scored twice. Conner Moser had 4 receptions for 82 yards and a TD.
      Dorian Soriano led defenders with 10 tackles, followed by Raymir Coney with 7. Braeden Shanklin and Tyler George each had an interception.
      The Indians, coached by Jason Krause, are now 1-4 in the GMC and 1-5 overall. They return to Alumni Stadium next Friday for homecoming against 6-0 Princeton.
