Super Senior Night Dozens of graduating students hailed at final home football game

There is no evening during the Fairfield school year that better defines the concept of Senior Night than the last home game of the football regular season.
On that night – which this year fell on Friday, Oct. 25, during the Fairfield-Middletown game – the Indians honor dozens and dozens of seniors from the football team, the cheerleading and dance squads, the student medical trainers, and the marching band.
The football squad, coached by Jason Krause, started the night off during pregame after quickly running through the team warm-ups. The seniors were: Tyon Spiller, Derion Prophett, A’Shion Ruff, Mason Gatto, Brayden Miller, Tyler George, Stephen Bryant, Aiden McGuire, Colin George, Jacob Bowen, Taylor Riemenschnieder, Lucas Hensley, Carson Scott, Josh Ellis, Stephen Patterson, Ryan Riemenschneider, Stephen Mputu, Ayden Southard, Brandon Hardy, and Oscar Benitez.
The student medical trainers, led by Brad Fraser and Chris Kunkel, were honored next. The four seniors were: William Garrity, Andrew Harvey, Morgan Piatt, and Megan Spence.
Next up was the cheerleading squad, coached by Emily Flaig. They were: Olivia Adelsperger, Ella Budd, Kylie James, Ava Meinhardt, Madilynn Richardson, LaNiyah Stringer, and Alayna Williams.
Ending pregame Senior Night festivities was the Fairfield Dance Team, coached by Deanna Owens-Nelson and Tracy Ashford. The six seniors were: Zaniah Bridges, Maliyah Daniels, Brooklyn Dudley, Mya Gurley, Nevaeh Hayes, and Judah Proffitt.
Bringing up the last of the honorees was the senior marching band members, who were introduced during halftime. They are directed by Jill Wilhelm and Darren Ling. Following tradition, each senior wore a goofy hat. The seniors: Cheay Marion, Alysse Scott, Teagan Norman, Chris Jones, Joey Thibault, Remy Carter, Deimos Dixon, Maggie Moyer, Kenzie Burns, Brinley Roblero de Paz, Johanna Flores, Jazmyn Richardson, Jonah Ficklin, Brandon Velasquez, Malaysia Logan, Rylan Palmer, Ben Reese, Claire Lally, Aidan Cooper, Bret Goley, Travis Jones, Jaydon Wells, Sam Williams, Anthony Marion, Milo Troup, Bella Dria, Madalyn Elliott, Noah Griffin, and Emily Leugers.
