On to Regional Finals 3rd Time in 4 years Fairfield Plays West Sunday for Shot at State Final Four

Fairfield came back from an early deficit to topple Lakota East Wednesday, 49-42, clinching a berth in the Regional Finals. The Indians next play Lakota West at noon, Sunday, at Xavier University’s Cintas Center.
Michael Lewis led Fairfield scorers with 17 points, followed by Daviawne Crim with 14. Gabe Clemmons came alive in the 4th quarter, scoring 9, blocking four shots and pulling down a total of 14 rebounds.
The victory means that Fairfield will be playing in its third regional finals in the last four years. The Indians lost to Centerville in 2023 and 2022 in the regional finals. If the team defeats Lakota West, they will advance to the State Final Four, which will be played later in March. The last time that the Indians made the Final Four was in 2012.
Tickets for Sunday’s game are available only online at www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Adults are $11 and students are $5. Come cheer the Indians on to the Final Four!
