Though the Fairfield track season is still in full swing, Senior Night was held at the annual JV Invitational at Alumni Stadium. Senior athletes and family gathered near the end of the meet for photos as coach Jason Krause read off their accomplishments and plans for the future.
The reason that track’s Senior Night was held at a JV meet was because no varsity meets are scheduled at home.
The senior athletes honored were:
Girls
- Maliyah Daniels: Attending college for nursing
- Emmie Hoffman: Attending Mt. Vernon Nazarene University to play soccer and study pre-occupational therapy
- Laila McGowan: Attending Tusculum University to study sports medicine
- Natasha Miller: Attending University of Dayton to study political science
- Monique Moore: Attending Howard University to major in biology on her way to a medical degree in obstetrics/gynecology
- Jalynn Pace: Attending school to become a Realtor
- Zaniyah Saturday: Attending Cincinnati State for law and becoming a paralegal
Boys
- Carson Gagen: Attending University of Cincinnati to study mechanical engineering
- Rubio Marshall Jr.: Attending school to study electrical engineering
- Eli Mitchell: Attending Kentucky State University
- Eli Parsell: Attending University of Cincinnati to study biology/zoology on his way to becoming a veterinarian
- Anthony Stillwagon: Attending school to major in business/marketing
